Clarence Su Bought the Large Tailgate bag for my 2021 gladiator out here in Arizona. Black bag gets hot is a given but it looks great on the back of my jeep. The pad works very well. Not damage or scratches found. It also makes it easy to detach and re-attach the bag when needed. The large does get in the way opening the tailgate. Simple fix is to just lift the bottom of the bag out of the way.
Bag is easy to clean with the type of mateiral.Love the extra front pocket to put what ever quick access equipment you need. Nice and spacious for 14gallon trash in the main compartment.

Sandy Tailgate pad straps are pretty short for my F150. would have been way easier to do if they were 4-6" longer. Also picture shows plastic buckles but actual product was metal clips, when those are dangling around they are more likely to scratch your tailgate. overall product works just could have been nicer.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. We switched from plastic buckles to stainless steel buckles early on because plastic tends to wear down and break over time, especially with regular use. The stainless steel ones are much more durable and reliable.
We also did extensive testing to make sure the buckles don’t scratch your truck. That’s why the lower buckles are positioned 3–4 inches up on the back of the bag—so they don’t hit the bumper when closing the tailgate.
We’re sorry the straps for the tailgate pad felt a bit short. We designed the pad to fit a wide range of trucks, and thought we had it dialed in for the F-150—but it looks like we need to extend the straps slightly. We’re already working on that fix.
