I saw a random ad on Facebook for the original Primo, and on a whim, decided to give it a shot. All I can say is...wow. How has no one thought of this before?
I had some reservations about how well it would fit, how good the build quality would be, and how well it would stay on the door, but this thing has blown away my doubts. The build quality is excellent - it's nicely stitched, no frayed ends, the materials are solid, and it has a nice, heavy weight to it.
It simply drops into the slot between the rubber window seal and the plastic door panel. You can still open and close your window as if it was not there at all. The internal structure is 1/16" to 1/8" metal, which means you can bend it to achieve your perfect angle. The top of the rest is padded, likely with some sort of foam beneath the outer fabric.
So far, no matter how hard I slam the door, with or without the window open, the rest has not fallen off once.
The only ding I'll give it is that my wife says it's "ugly". But if you're a function-over-form guy like me, this thing becomes beautiful simply for how amazingly functional it is. If you've got the cash and you're considering buying one, just do it. You're not going to regret it.

I wasn't too sure how much benefit I'd get from the new fullsize armrest...but once I put it on (SUPER easy to do), and drove around town and the highway a little bit, I couldn't imagine NOT having it there. It feels so natural, and it's SO much more comfy than the windowsill alone. Works equally the same window up or down, and it's adjustable to get it to lie level. The pad is comfy, and the leather is so nice - just feels right. The length is just right for my GMC 2500 - it slides back almost to the door lock, but does not impede the opening handle in any way. Just like Goldilocks - "this one is just right!" If you're on the fence, just do it - cost is justified by the bulletproof construction, and the ultimate utility of the unit. it WORKS, guys - and I'm super happy I took the leap of faith to try it!!!
Actually ended up turning it around and using it on my center console. Straightens my back out and is more comfortable. Great product
Never thought it would’ve been so much more comfortable. Fits great and never thought it would looking at it. Looks great. Well made. Very string. Took.Me awhile to bend the little it needed. Will get another for passenger side.
I have been struggling with severe nerve pain in both elbows and my doctor has told me not to rest on my elbows as it will make it worse. So imagine how painful and difficult it is when you rest your arm on the hard plastic window sill?
Enter the Primo Work arm rest. I freakin love this thing it is so comfortable to rest my arm on and makes all of the pain go away. I can finally rest my arm on the sill with no pain. It is very functional and easy to install and use. If there was a way to put one on my right side I’d do that too!
Love my new arm rest. It is my second one, and this new leather version is the bomb. Already know what I'm getting the wife for Christmas
