Excellent piece of gear. I use it on my Ford Bronco Sport as an external storage bag for trash, shoes, and miscellaneous camping items. It fits surprisingly well despite not having a traditional tailgate and helps keep the interior clean and organized. Durable, practical, and now a permanent part of my travel setup.
Super impressed with the quality of this bag, it feels very secure and the materials are high-quality. I was worried about the small being too small, but I recently took it out on a week-long shakedown trip and found it to have plenty of room. I used mine with a trash bag, but you could certainly use it without one (as intended) and just spray it out at the end of your trip/whenever you're topping up water.
Primo Workz tailgate bag is 👌🏼🔥 Easy to install. I love how you can disconnect the bottom so that when you put the tailgate down it swings down with it so it's easy to use when camping/cooking. I also love the front zipper pocket. I keep a roll of trash bags and a pair of gloves inside it. It fits a LOT of trash. And keeps it out of my truck which is great. It's also a great reminder that I can clean up any trash I find on the trail and I don't have to store it in my truck bed. Quality is also great.

This bag is stellar. Biggest problem I had was which side to mount it to. No instructions needed, open box, put it on. Huge inside, way easy to clean and looks bad ass!

Update 2/7/25: Company reached out and are going to be adding a sleeve to the bag for trucks with camper shells. Additionally, they are working with me to get my bag dialed back in after my repair. Don't hesitate to buy from this company, they will address any legitimate issues and stand behind their product/work.
The bag itself is functional and well thought out. Unfortunately, they fell short on the minor details. The strap that goes over the tailgate and connects to the mounting pad is poor quality. If you have a camper shell or cap, it will rub through. Mine only lasted 6 days in Joshua Tree National Park until it was almost worn through. Contacted PW and was told to have it repaired myself.
Not the best for a $200 bag that didn't last a whole trip. So, I took it to a local leather shop and they repaired it the best they could and added a piece of leather on top of the strap to keep it from wearing through. But the strap is a bit too short now. So not entirely happy with the purchase overall. Modify yourself by adding a leather piece or avoid all together if you have a truck camper shell/cap. Overlanding gear should be tough and able to handle proper use/no abuse for the premium price we all pay for gear.

When we created this product, we didn’t foresee this being an issue, as the camper shells we had come into contact with had rubber seals on the bottom. We were sure that the shell wouldn’t affect the straps, but clearly, that’s not the case with your camper shell.
We will be releasing a PVC sleeve for people with camper shells, and that should solve the issue. We will be reaching out to make this right. We are sincerely sorry about this issue.
I purchased a tailgate bag from another company before this one was announced. That bag did the job but I didn’t love it. I purchased this bag immediately when I saw it was available. This bag fixed all the complaints I had. Quality is unmatched and the price is unbeatable. This is my 3rd product from PrimoWorks arm rest, and dash cover.
I picked up a tailgate bag at Overland Expo East this year to replace my failing trasharoo. The design is great. Super easy to install. The padding protects my paint and the flip down feature when the tailgate is lowered is what sold it. No more shoving garbage in horizontal and hoping it went into the actual trash bag. I may get another just because I have the room for it!

I purchased the large version for my Ram 1500. Fitment was good. I’ve used it for trash and wet clothes/gear. If I had to make one request, I wish the branding/logo was smaller on the face of the bag.
This is one BULLETPROOF bag, ya'll - built like a brick outhouse. I like it so much, I had to buy the tailgate PAD to go with it. Thought i'd just use it on my spare hanger out back, but don't use that for every trip...so having the tailgate pad was the next choice. Doubted that it'd not scratch my new truck's tailgate, but that Gecko pad really works as advertised - soft, sticky, and no marks at all on the tailgate after a long trip (with the bag full of heavy wood for the campfire). SUPER pleased with Primo Workz products - you will be, too!
LOVE my tailgate bag - so much so that I ordered both install kits, so I can use it with my sparetire carrier, but also my regular tailgate if I'm not offroad. This thing is built like a brick outhouse! I love the secure buckles - with metal, not plastic. And the front pocket has a TON of room, to keep stuff separate from whatever you might put in the main hold of the bag. Great, and comfy, carry handle for when it's time to hit the dumpster. All in a stellar product, and I'm pleased as can be. I'm a HUGE fan of their armrest - so I tried the tailgate bag, and I was supremely impressed!

The bag is very will designed and made. I ended up going to find a garbage can to stuff inside of it. It would have been a nice thing to already have come with the bag. Although a can is not needed, I prefer to use a can to keep the bag nice.

Bought the Large Tailgate bag for my 2021 gladiator out here in Arizona. Black bag gets hot is a given but it looks great on the back of my jeep. The pad works very well. Not damage or scratches found. It also makes it easy to detach and re-attach the bag when needed. The large does get in the way opening the tailgate. Simple fix is to just lift the bottom of the bag out of the way.
Bag is easy to clean with the type of mateiral.Love the extra front pocket to put what ever quick access equipment you need. Nice and spacious for 14gallon trash in the main compartment.
