Perfect for long hauls..
Fantastic comfort and it does not get hot! I live in South Florida and didnt use a sun shade for testing. My interior gets way hotter than this arm rest! Its never been hotter than “warm"
I really wish I had gotten my armrest a long time ago! I've always driven with my arm on the door and now I have the armrest so it is much more comfortable! Being able to manipulate it a bit to get a firm fit sets it so it is a very natural feeling to have my arm resting on it!

I drive a 25 tacoma for work and put a lot of miles on it 5-6 days a week. The window sill on this model is a bit sharp. It was killing my elbow on the long drives. I started thinking about taping a towel on the sill to add some cushion.
